Things that Inspire me (Link Time)

This young house and its inhabitants are pretty impressive.
This young couple has not only remodeled their old little brick house into a stunning (see above pic) home but have managed to create a business by doing color consults for less than $50 and online design services (I imagine on the affordable side too) They show really simple but beautiful easy to re-create table settings and as if all that weren't enough have some killer housetours (like this gorgeous little white house)Now meet Meet Leslie

I don't know her in real life but she is a photographer a mom and an amazing semstress. The lovely aprons you see above can be purchased in her Etsy Shop for a song. The one I'm wearing in the previous post was made by me (because I wanted to make a slight change--and apparently these days I'm super cheap) But for the trouble they caused me--just buy one for less than 30 bucks. Leslie and her sisters make the cutest things (and kindly tell you what patterns they use) Check out their blog--it is seriously insane the dresses this girl has made.
Oh and bonus simplicy patterns are .99 cents at Joann's starting the 11th through the end of the month.

Also--I've gotta run so links to come but I also just discovered two other awesome blogs-- Angry chicken (all her tutorials and her awesome menus on one sheet thing) and LIttle birdie secrets which has a great tutorial for an ironing board that you roll up. ◦

Links on Learning and Libraries

Soo..in honor of Back to School season, and my Big Boy getting ready to start Kindergarten I found two AWESOME links. The first. Did you know that MIT offers most of their undergraduate and graduate courses for free. Yah! You can learn Quantum Physics, or take weird obscure Literature classes. You can download the course materials here..
From the set of Something's Gotta Give

This is crazy right?! The only catch is you wont actually earn a degree from there..BOO! But the learnings free..I can't get over it.

LOVE this! Found on Cookie Mag

The next find is the BBC's online and MP3 languages lessons, they offer French, German, Portuguese, Mandarin, Greek, and Urdu. Again, Crazy! I love this. I want to learn them all...seriously. Go Here.
The Coziest Library ever..from the set of The Holiday
Now if only I had a pretty corner like this to sit in while I do all this learning. hmm...one can dream.

Link This

I find some amazing things on the internet. What if every Monday I share them with you?

Bakerella-A blog about dessert recipes. I'm tempted to make this cake today, even though I'm on a diet and my son is allergic to peanut butter.Bored kids? This site features a new craft EVERYDAY. Today it was this sunflower.

Cutest little girl skirt tutorial. (too lazy to get permission to use the picture so I wont use it)

Another great Tutorial for the perfect tote bag. I want to make some for grocery shopping.
And then for you Mormon girls. Visit Teaching handout/packets. This girl makes a new one each month and they include a recipe. Also, proof you can buy anything on Etsy.

and Lastly, if you haven't joined Facebook you should really try it. I really thought this would be a huge waste of time, but after getting a few invitations, from people far cooler and busier than me, I jumped on the bandwagon. I found people I went to High School with. Crazy.
