I have an enourmous stash of inherited vintage fabric from a professional seamstress who was apparently a major hoarder. I made this shirt for my friends little girl's birthday. She loved it! the only new fabric is the green stem and leaf. I may make a few more of these for my Empty Etsy shop. That is, if I ever work up the courage to sell things I make. I'm thinking one of these flowers on a cardigan would be adorable.

No actually, what I did was sew them right sides together (nothing inside) and then cut a small slit in the middle (where the button would hide) to turn. I held them together with the button and then sewed it onto the shirt in different spots--and not neatly either since I figured the petals would hide it all.
